Darrel Turner, overseer, kicked uncle Châu out of work, and I know Darrel wanted to kick him out permanently. This information I knew from the Vietnamese teacher of Darrel Turner.
God's people waited for a time (after 3 years), they saw these Canadian worker continually badly behaved uncle Chau, they have reaction.
Uncle Hoa didn't agree with this Canadian Overseer many things and he knew that sooner or later he would have the same fate as uncle Châu. Furthermore, he had read TTT website and knew the truth about 2x2, he boldly left out 2x2 and didn't cooperate with these Canadian workers any more.
By the reaction of God's people and uncle Hoa, they have to solve the problem by demoting Darrel Turner and sent another Canadian overseer, Lyle Schutz, Dale's brother to Vietnam. Lyle Schutz restored the work for uncle Chau furtively and sent him immediately to Cambodia. But some friends visited him in Cambodia, when returning they said uncle Chau stayed in Cambodia like a babysitter because he couldn't speak Khmer, so he taught English for many young boys and girls as a babysitter. And his companion is an Australian worker,LIoyd. LIoyd has an age worthy his son, but Lyle Schutz set Uncle Chau under LIoyd's control. It's a shame.
Due to many Vietnamese friends could visit him, Cambodia has the same border as Vietnam, they sent uncle Chau farther, to East Timor, this place they don't speak English, they speak Portuguese. This country allow visa only 6 months. After 6 months, Lyle Schutlz sent him to Australia. And he preached in Australia and had a convention tour there. Then he was absent too long from the country, policeman ask him to return. He has returned to vietnam and Lyle Shutlz has a plan for him to go to cambodia again.
My question is: Why the Vietnamese people need him to preach the gospel? I think Australia has a lot of workers,if there is a need to have more workers, I think some Canadian workers are staying in Vietnam can have a better job preaching in Australia because they have the same language than uncle Chau.
And if he goes to Cambodia to be a babysitter, it is a waste, isn't it?

Lloyd is Lloyd Morgan who is a worker originally from country NSW, Australia and has been in Cambodia for a number of years. Lloyd is a nice fellow but would be very traditional when it comes to 2x2ism. Lloyd would have strong connections with workers in NSW, East Timor and South Australia, which appear to be part of Lyle's rotation plan for brother Chau.

East Timor is an incredibly poor country not too far from Darwin in northern Australia. It was originally occupied by the Portuguese. East Timor has not had 2x2 workers but in the past 2 or 3 years Ian Taylor from South Australia has gone there. Ian is learning the Portuguese language as I understand - I don't think there are any professing folk in East Timor, however the country has a Roman Catholic heritage and there are a number of bible based churches in the country. It would be a very difficult environment for Brother Chau in East Timor.

As an aside Ian Taylor was originally in NSW but was transferred to South Australia (there were reportedly some differences between Clyde Mackay, head worker in NSW and Ian Taylor). Ian was then in line to assume head worker responsibility in South Australia when Stan Cornthwaite was no longer able (the NZ thread talks of Graham Thompson's views on Stan C as a head worker receiving the Australian government age pension). However, reportedly many elders in SA did not want Ian to be head worker in South Australia so Alan Kitto was transferred across from NSW. Alan was reportedly not happy about the move as he was effectively 2nd in charge of NSW. As Ian was not appointed elder and Alan would very much be "Clyde's man", Ian Taylor has since moved to East Timor. He is still in East Timor and this year has a companion from South Australia, Jeff Ditton, so it seems that Ian T will be there a number of years to see what opens up for them. Lloyd Morgan, Ian Taylor and Allan Kitto would know each other very well - Lloyd and Ian are of similar age I would think (around 60) and Allan possibly 10 years older.

So through this trail you can see the movement of Chau around the various areas as visas permit and between workers who know each other well. He may continue to go on this rotation policy - a fairly expensive exercise to keep a worker away from his homeland.

What is an appropriate name for a policy to not allow Chau, who is now an older man as I understand, to be in his native country where he has many family and friends? As I said before it would all be positioned as best for Chau and the 2x2 friends in Vietnam but what Lyle S has not yet told Chau is that apart from fleeting visits to Vietnam to renew his visa he won't be coming back any time soon.
